My name is Kristina Mader and I am the Resource & Outreach Programs Director for the 2007 - 2008 year. I want to take this opportunity to personally welcome students to the ROP. The ROP offers wonderful opportunities for personal and career development (through employment, work-study, and volunteering), enhancement of classroom education (through programs, libraries, and other resources) and in-office services (referrals, peer counseling, etc.). Our offices are particularly committed to preserving a safe space for all students as well as providing unbiased, confidential, and accurate information and programs.

Director's Statement of Purpose
The ROP Director is responsible for the overall operation of the ROP programs. This includes training, supervision, and evaluation of ROP program coordinators and assistant coordinators, facilitating office communication, budget management, serving as a liaison to other areas of the AS and Viking Union, and ensuring that programming is of high quality and meeting the needs of Western Washington University students. We offer work-study positions, volunteer opportunities, resource libraries, referrals to other campus and community resources, programs for residence halls and classrooms, peer supports, and small- and large-scale events.
